We Recommend That USEPA Expand the Renewable Fuel Standard Program From Biogas to Renewable Biomass, Including the Biogenic Portion of Municipal Solid Waste
Today we link our partner's letter to USEPA with the following recommendation:
by Philipp Schmidt-Pathmann
"We recommend that USEPA expand the Renewable Fuel Standard program from biogas to renewable biomass, including the biogenic portion of municipal solid waste. This change would establish a more level playing field, reduce the incentives to landfill, and help to transition the United States to a circular economy, in which landfills are no longer needed.”
